Welcome to the official documentation for Elysium Names (.ely). Elysium Names is a decentralized naming service built for the Elysium ecosystem. It provides human-readable names that connect to blockchain wallet addresses, making onchain identities easier to recognise, share and use. Instead of sharing a long hexadecimal wallet address, users can register and use a simple name such as yourname.ely. Each registered .ely name is represented by an ERC-721 NFT, giving its owner control over the name and its associated records. Names can be transferred, renewed and managed through the Elysium Names application. Beyond name registration, the protocol includes infrastructure for referrals, partner eligibility programmes, ecosystem discounts, reserved names, auctions and developer integrations.

What can you do with Elysium Names?

  • Register a name: Secure a human-readable .ely identity for your wallet.
  • Manage your identity: Update address and text records, set a primary name and appoint a manager.
  • Own and transfer names: Hold your name as an ERC-721 NFT and transfer it to another wallet.
  • Renew your name: Extend your registration before or after expiry, subject to protocol rules.
  • Earn referral rewards: Invite others to register and receive eligible referral rewards.
  • Access partner benefits: Participate in supported ecosystem programmes and registration discounts.
  • Build integrations: Use the protocol’s smart contracts and resolution functions to integrate .ely into applications.
