Elysium Names is built for the Elysium network, an EVM-compatible blockchain ecosystem that provides the environment for registering, managing and resolving .ely names. This page covers the network characteristics relevant to developers and applications integrating Elysium Names.

1. About Elysium

Elysium provides an EVM-compatible environment for decentralised applications and smart contracts. Elysium Names uses this environment to provide onchain name registration, NFT ownership, name resolution and ecosystem integrations. The network uses HYPE for transaction gas and protocol payments. Elysium settles to HyperEVM, connecting its execution environment to the broader Hyperliquid ecosystem.

2. EVM Compatibility

Because Elysium is EVM-compatible, developers can use familiar Ethereum development tools and standards when building integrations. Relevant technologies include:
  • Solidity for smart contract development.
  • Foundry for contract compilation, deployment and testing.
  • Standard EVM JSON-RPC interfaces.
  • ERC-721 for name NFT ownership and transfers.
  • ERC-2981 for NFT royalty information.
  • Compatible EVM wallets and developer libraries.
EVM compatibility makes it easier for existing applications and developers to work with Elysium Names without requiring an entirely different smart contract development stack. However, applications must still configure the correct Elysium network and use the appropriate deployed contract addresses.

3. Testnet Configuration

The following configuration was used during Elysium Names development and testing. Developers can use these details when configuring compatible wallets and development tools for testnet interactions. Important: These are testnet parameters. They should not be used as mainnet configuration.

4. Mainnet Configuration

For production integrations, developers must connect to the official Elysium mainnet. Before interacting with the live protocol, confirm:
  • Official network name.
  • Mainnet chain ID.
  • Official RPC endpoint.
  • Native gas token.
  • Verified Elysium Names contract addresses.
Do not infer mainnet values from the testnet configuration. The official mainnet parameters and deployed contract addresses should be obtained from Elysium’s official network resources and the Elysium Names project announcements.

5. Gas and Protocol Payments

Elysium uses HYPE for gas fees. Elysium Names also uses HYPE for applicable protocol payments, including:
  • Name registration.
  • Name renewals.
  • Auction bids.
  • Other configured payment operations.
Protocol payments and network gas fees are separate costs. For example, registering a name requires the applicable registration payment as well as sufficient HYPE to cover the transaction’s gas fee. The amount required depends on the name’s pricing category, registration duration and any applicable discount.

6. Connecting to Elysium

Applications can connect to Elysium through a compatible EVM wallet or an RPC provider. A typical integration involves:
  1. Configuring the Elysium network in the application.
  2. Connecting an EVM-compatible wallet.
  3. Confirming that the wallet is connected to the intended network.
  4. Loading the appropriate contract ABI and address.
  5. Reading or submitting transactions to the relevant protocol contracts.
Applications should detect network mismatches and guide users to switch networks before initiating protocol interactions.

7. Developer Compatibility

Developers familiar with Ethereum tooling can use established libraries and frameworks to interact with Elysium. The Elysium Names contracts are written in Solidity and use established token and ownership standards. Integrations can therefore use compatible tooling for:
  • Reading contract state.
  • Submitting transactions.
  • Monitoring transaction receipts.
  • Reading NFT ownership.
  • Resolving names.
  • Retrieving records.
  • Interacting with marketplace and partner functionality.
Always verify compatibility with the target network and deployed contract version.

8. Network Resources

For official network information and updates, consult Elysium’s official ecosystem channels. For Elysium Names implementation details, use: Use verified network information when configuring production applications.

9. Summary

Elysium Names uses Elysium’s EVM-compatible environment to provide onchain naming infrastructure. Developers can use familiar Solidity tools, EVM interfaces and established NFT standards to integrate .ely names into their applications. The testnet configuration is documented here for development purposes. Production integrations must use the official mainnet parameters and verified contract addresses.
